Recently I started a series of blog posts covering the need for a private, secure and safe area for data discovery within the data warehouse ecosystem. The most common name for this type area is a “sandbox”. The demand for sandboxing is growing rapidly as many companies start exploring the new types of data streams linked to “big data”.
