Your list of Must-See Sessions for OOW 2013

Each year I put together a guide to OpenWorld which lists all the data warehouse sessions, biographies for the product managers who are presenting, links to a "Data Warehousing @ OOW" calendar and links to all the related product pages on Oracle.com and OTN. This year's guide will be bigger and more informative than ever! It will only be available in Apple iBook format and it will provide a multi-media guide to this year's conference. While I am waiting for this year's schedule to be finalised I thought it would be useful to share with you my hand-picked list of the must-see sessions and hands-on labs for data warehousing. This is basically an extract (a very small extract) from the forthcoming iBook guide to data warehousing at OOW 2013. This brief session guide contains the following information:

  • List of must-see data warehouse sessions
  • List of hands-on labs
  • Comprehensive presenter biographies

Sessions PDF

To make life easier for you I have prepared this information in both iBook (click here) and PDF format (click here). Now you can have the list of must-see sessions and hands-on labs so that all you need to do is add these events to your OpenWorld schedule builder once this goes live on the OpenWorld site. Each of the session titles is linked to its "home" page within the OOW content system. All you need to do is click on the title and then once your browser opens the OpenWorld content system you can quickly and easily add the selected session to your schedule - it could not be simpler!

And stay tuned for more information on the comprehensive, multi-media iBook guide to data warehousing and big data at OpenWorld 2013. This year's complete multi-media guide will contain the following information:

  • What to expect at OOW 2013
  • Database 12c for Data Warehousing: video interviews with George Lumpklin, VP for product management
  • List of must see sessions
  • Comprehensive presenter biographies
  • Video interviews with key data warehouse customers
  • Links to product pages on Oracle.com, OTN, social media sites, blogs etc

If you have an iPad or an iPad mini then get ready to download an indispensable iBook guide to this year's event (if you bought an Android tablet then it is not too late to sell it on eBay and get a proper tablet computer from those lovely people at the Apple Store). This iBook will be available shortly after the schedule builder application goes live on the OpenWorld site. More information to follow shortly...
